Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Our Commitment to Responsible Business
LG Aurelia Ltd is committed to conducting business responsibly and does not knowingly support or tolerate modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, child labour or exploitation within its operations or supply chain.
Although LG Aurelia Ltd is currently below the statutory turnover threshold requiring an annual statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to publish this voluntary statement to explain our present approach.
Our Business
LG Aurelia Ltd is a UK-registered online jewellery retailer working with jewellery manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and recognised brands. Our collection includes precious-metal jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, watches and gifting pieces.
Our Supplier Expectations
We expect suppliers and commercial partners to comply with applicable employment, human-rights, anti-trafficking and modern-slavery legislation. We seek to work with established businesses that share our commitment to lawful, fair and responsible trade.
Supplier Selection and Due Diligence
When considering suppliers, we review available business information, product authenticity, material details, trading standards and the professional reputation of the business. Where concerns arise, we may request further information, reconsider the relationship or choose not to proceed.
Our Supply Chain
Our products may pass through manufacturers, authorised distributors and specialist jewellery suppliers before reaching LG Aurelia. We recognise that international jewellery supply chains can be complex, and we do not claim complete mine-to-market visibility for every product.
Responding to Concerns
LG Aurelia would take any credible concern relating to forced labour, trafficking, exploitation or other serious misconduct within its operations or supply chain seriously. Appropriate action may include seeking clarification, suspending purchases or ending a supplier relationship.
Our Continuing Commitment
As LG Aurelia grows, we will continue reviewing our supplier relationships and improving the processes used to assess new commercial partners. This statement will be reviewed periodically to ensure it continues to reflect our business and practices.
