Before an LG Aurelia order is prepared for dispatch, we take time to check that the piece we received matches the item you ordered and is presented in the condition we expect. It is a simple extra stage designed to catch obvious issues before your jewellery reaches you.
1. We confirm the item
We first check the jewellery against the order details, including the design, metal, stone or colour option and any relevant size or variant information. This helps make sure the correct piece has arrived before it moves any further through our dispatch process.
2. We visually inspect the finish
The piece is checked for obvious marks, damage or finish issues. Where relevant, we also look over stone settings, links, clasps, fastenings and other visible components to make sure the jewellery appears secure and ready to wear.
3. We check the details
Where hallmarking, branding or maker details are applicable and visible, we check that the expected markings and presentation are consistent with the piece supplied. Branded jewellery is also checked against the product and supplier information we hold for the order.
4. We prepare it for dispatch
Once the piece has passed our checks, it is prepared for presentation and dispatch. We make sure the order is matched to the correct customer details and packaged so it can continue its journey safely.
Why we added this step
LG Aurelia works with a range of jewellery suppliers and established brands. Bringing the item through an inspection stage gives us an opportunity to look at the actual piece before it reaches you, rather than simply treating the order as a box moving from one place to another.
It also gives us a clearer point of control if something does not look right: we would rather identify an obvious issue before dispatch than leave the customer to discover it after delivery.
